Up and coming at the Link!

Hi ladies (and gents),

Happy new year!! We hope everyone had a lovey and safe holiday, and that you aren’t too upset to be checking back into the real world! 
To ease us into January, we thought we’d send you all an update of what’s coming up at the Link for the next few months. There will be a Link letter coming out soon to this regard also. 

So! What do we have for you? Well…. 

First up is the very first Open mic night at the Link this Friday the 11th January. This is a new monthly initiative run by Daniel Byfield, and will take the place of our old “first Fridays”. It’s a bit of fun for everyone to get together and for local acts and members to show off what they’ve got. Dan has started his own Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Open-Mic-at-The-Link-789823321363116/) to promote this, and these will come up on the NTG page regularly as well. 

Secondly, the FRINGE WORLD Festival returns to regional WA in 2019 to entertain four towns across our amazing state! Perth’s largest and most popular Festival is touring to Northam, bringing a hand-selected variety show for adults and a high-energy circus show with and accompanying workshop for the kids. Featuring the best of local and national talent with Svan Hopla, Jon Madd, Michael Speranza and Cam Venn, this one is sure to be an un-missable performance! Finally (for the moment), on Fri Feb 15 we are planning this years Launch Party at 5.30pm, and there will be the next Open Mic night afterwards. Directors will share their ideas for their show, invite interest or involvement. All members are invited, please bring a plate of nibbles, drinks then open mic afterwards (so make sure to let Dan know if you want to perform a little something)!
